Getting Started with Genesis

Getting Started with Genesis with Wes Linda
Finding the right theme for your website can be a true challenge. The Genesis Framework offers a powerful foundation for a WordPress driven website. In Getting Started with Genesis, we’ll cover everything you need to get your website online with the Genesis Framework. We’ll also dig into the best plugins and resources that will help you make the most of your Genesis powered website.

About the Speaker: I’m Wes. I built my first website nearly 20 years ago and it wasn’t pretty. I’m talking The Globe and that’s just scary. For the past seven years I’ve been working with WordPress as my primary website platform.

By day, i’m a designer and creative for Johns Hopkins University where I manage a number of WordPress based websites. By night, I’m WordPress Wes offering freelance clients custom websites built using the Genesis framework. Basically, my life has come to be completely engulfed with WordPress.

When I’m not working on on web sites you’ll often find me with a camera in hand taking someone’s head shot or photographing totally random things.
